That's weird. I've used their site-to-store a few times, and the items have always been well-packaged and in perfect condition.

Can't you just refuse it if it's damaged?

I got the same bubble mailer which contained 15 or so dvd's to my house over the holidays.. The 2 boxsets were dinged up on the edges.. but the dvd's were in good shape. I think it's shipped fedex.

was this standard shipping, 2-day, etc? bubble envelopes always worry me.

Have only ordered once and used their "free shipping". It came via the postal service and took just over a week, which I thought was pretty slow.

Standard shipping.. not sure the exact arrival time, but I was satisfied with the speed of shipping.. and yeah.. i would have totally preferred if they would have used a box.

Re: How is Walmart DVD shipping to home?

i recently had a site-to-store order for a dvd. in the past, i recall dvds shipped to a store in a bubble envelope, which is usually fine. however this time, the dvd was shipped in a plain, yellow plastic envelope - like a bubble envelope but without the bubbles. sheesh, walmart is starting to really skimp i thought.

ive had walmart ship to me in the past too, but its been a while.

Re: How is Walmart DVD shipping to home?

I ordered a few things before Christmas shipped to my home, and will never do it again unless they start beating Amazon by 40% differences in pricing on dvds. One dvd box set arrived in awful condition, and it looked like it was that way before their slow shipping. Another item mysteriously just disappeared in the mail from them. The slow shipping, poor packing and generally bad condition of items I have received from them crosses Walmart out as a viable online retailer for me.

Re: How is Walmart DVD shipping to home?

I've had 7 orders shipped to home from them from November to January and had no problems whatsoever. The shipping took 5-9 days with most arriving in 7 days. (Slow? Yes, but also free) I only placed these orders though because of the cheaper price with the then 10-20% bing cashback. I got $7.77 cashback when I preordered Chuck Season 2 which was also the cheapest preorder price. Now I've noticed the free shipping on dvds is completely gone and site to store is hard to find on dvds also. So I most likely will not be placing any orders in the near future. Had no problems with my orders though. All were shipped in bubble mailers.

Re: How is Walmart DVD shipping to home?

I ordered once during the Xmas sales. I ordered 2 dvds and they were squeezed together in a too small envelope which completely caved in one of the cases. They were so cheap that it wasn't worth returning, so I just put the dvd in an old case I had laying around.

Re: How is Walmart DVD shipping to home?

Out of curiosity, how much are shipping costs for two regular single DVDs?
