Amazon gift claim code - transferable?

So, I won an Amazon gift card with a claim code.

Can I forward that claim code to someone else for them to use towards an Amazon purchase?

I guess I'm wondering if the claim code is tied to an email address or nothing at all.

Yeah you can give it to somebody else I don't think it is associated to a email address. The person claming the GC needs to log in and type in the claim code, that screen is under your account settings.

Anyone can use the code. You could sell the code on Ebay if you wanted, people do that all the time.
