Quick question about refusing Amazon shipment
 

I received the UCE Gone With the Wind that I was not able to cancel before it shipped out. If I mark "REFUSED-Return to Sender" on it, will it go back without return shipping charges being taken out? I want to get a full refund and from what I've read, this seems to be the easiest way, I think.

That's the way to do it.

Remember back in the day when Amazon had their B1G1 TVDVD sets, but they all shipped out free? When they wanted money for them, most people just marked them refused: return to sender, and got their (shipping) charges refunded.

Yep, that will work. Just had to do this recently for the first time myself. Just marked it "return to sender", didn't pay a dime for shipping and received an email from Amazon about a week after it was sent notifying me of the credit applied to my account.

I used to do that with BMG and Columbia House because they did that crap where they sent out CDs automatically unless you mailed them back saying you didn't want their shitty pick for you. I tried keeping up with that for a while but then just did the return to sender thing and they got pissed. One notification they sent me was "We received your pick of the month back AGAIN and want to remind you to blah blah blah"

Pretty soon they cancelled the pick of the month thing for me...don't know if it was for everybody.

LOL sorry for bumping this, but yeah, both BMG and Columbia sent me a letter telling me to let them know when I WANTED the pick of the month... I'm sure they got sick of paying a lot of people's return shipping costs...
