Why is Deep Discount CD-DVD on Amazon Marketplace?
I'm looking for a CD. Amazon lists it at $14.99. Amazon Marketplace has it for $7.44 plus shipping from Deep Discount. So naturally I try to buy it directly from DD and get the free shipping. But it's not listed on the Deep Discount website. What's going on? Why would they sell a CD only on Amazon Marketplace when they have a large business of their own?

Well, this might be a simple answer, but my guess is that the Deep Discount CD - DVD on Amazon has nothing to do with deepdiscount.com, and may just be piggybacking off their name.

my guess: they're probably out of stock, and aren't as quick to update their amazon.com listings.
that's my experience with amazon sellers who have their own sites, at least.

Sometimes they have limited quantities and they list only enough on amazon that they have. I have seen this with dvd's they list on amazon.
