Deep Discount wrong item shipped.
 
On the 26th of July I preordered this even sacrificing the 25% sale because I wanted to be sure I got it before it went out of stock during the sale.

1 SHF011318 DVD : MIDDLE MAN-COMPLETE SERIES $ 22.14 Pre-order

On the 1st of August I got this The Invisibles as well as a receipt stating it was The Middleman DVD set.

I attempted to call but they were already closed so I emailed them requesting the correct item as well as a return mailer so I could return their wrong item to them.

How do they usually handle mistakes like this? Think I should follow up with a call n Monday?

They sent me a VHS tape of a Dvd title I ordered once. A few months ago I ordered the Criterion version of Benjamin Button and they sent me the 1 disc version. I took well over a month for me to actually receive the Criterion version and a week or two after it was released some B&M store were selling it for 15.00 or 5.00 less than what I paid DDD!!! I let it go since I did get a POTA Monkey Head Collection for 0.00 due to thier mistake.

Its always best to talk to someone and maybe they will send a replacement before they receive your returned goods. Otherwise, expect atleast a 4-6 week for the exchange to take place.

Just yesterday I received the wrong item from DVDplanet. I was suppose to receive Children of Men Blu-Ray, but instead I received Mad Men season 2 Blu-Ray with someone else's order slip from DeepDiscountDVD. I called DVDplanet and they emailed me a return label and said that they would ship Children of Men Blu-Ray with priority mail. Someone in the packing department deserves a pie in the face.

Indeed and sounds like I will backup my email with a phone call first thing on Monday and ask for the same treatment you got.

During the last sale, I ordered a copy of "Red Sox's Greatest Games" and opened up the package (at my workplace) and saw that I received "Yankees' Greatest Games". I screamed "What the hell is this?!!". I called DD, they sent a return label to my e-mail and shipped the Sox Greatest Games right out. I still laugh about the error. Of all the wrong titles to be shipped...

Just call them and they will ship you the correct item. I had this happen to me and they emailed me a return label for the wrong item and shipped the correct item the next day or so.

It happened to me this sale as well.

I e-mailed them and got the RMA to send the item back, but they didn't place a new order. All the follow up e-mails just told me that my order shipped on 7/17 (yes, the wrong item).

I had to call and the girl told me they didn't do the right in the system (I'm pretty sure they credited/corrected the other party and not me). She put it right and even upgraded my shipping for free.

I'll never try to resolve a service issue through their e-mail again; it's just best to call.

That had to be someone screwing with you. But at least the Yankees dvd was a multi dvd set. :)

I rang them this morning and they emailed me a return label but said they would not send me the correct item until after they received the return :-( I asked a second time if they would send my correct DVD out while the incorrect one was returned and they wouldn't budge.

I had a defective DVD this sale, that I sent back a few days ago. Called them and the email they sent including the return label said I should get the replacement in 5-10 business days after they receive the defective disc. I'm honestly not expecting to see it that soon.

I also received a wrong item during this sale along with a stranger's invoice. Called them and they have supposedly shipped a replacement as well as a return shipping label.

They must have some seriously disgruntled people in that warehouse...

Just today, I received a stranger's invoice as well. Thankfully, it was an invoice for the same item that I ordered, so I ended up with the right item....
