There's something up over there, a lot of sellers have been complaining of the lack of sales in the last few months since Amazon has been tweaking the website, and there are rumors of "cycling" the stock also.

That's because you don't splurge on Amazon Prime, apparently. Or what used to be called Amazon Prime. See, they're changing Prime around, so now unless you have Amazon Prime, everything appears out of stock. Then if you want it to ship before the next Halley's Comet returns, you'll need to invest in Amazon Superprime.

I noticed this too. I just ordered some books for my job and it took I think 5 days to ship. Kind of annoying that it took that long.

Ahhh, Free Super Saver Shipping. From Amazon's website:

"4. Select Super Saver Shipping as your shipping speed. Please note that your order may take an additional 3 to 5 business days to ship out from our fulfillment center(s). Transit time for Super Saver Shipping orders is 5 to 9 business days after shipping. "

So they have 14 business days to get the package to you. That's just shy of three weeks.

^ Exactly. Instead of bitching about the times that Amazon is well within their policy and providing you FREE shipping; you should be singing their praises for the times that they ship even quicker than 3 weeks.

Yeah, it's right there on their website in black and white. The option is always there to pay for shipping or go with prime.

I think I have Amazon Subprime. My last order held in limbo for some time. Once it got shipped it went pretty quickly.

I've never had a problem with Amazon and I'd say I've been 99% overall happy. I always take the "Free Ship" option which is like 5 business days. When it's fram a vendor I usually see it shipped out next day. I get Free Shipping, No Tax and better prices than local (BB, Walmart, Target, etc).

Amazon also appears to claim an item has shipped (3-4??) days before it actually ships. I noticed this when comparing the Amazon tracking page to the USPS tracking page after my item has arrived.

So I ordered a couple of blu-rays which were in stock, but they aren't expected to ship till August 3-10!! What that's about?
