Diabolik DVD-Any Info appreciated
 

Fairly new here (I apologize in advance if this is in the wrong forum). I have seen Diabolik DVD and also X-Ploited Cinema advertise in some of the movie magazines I purchase. In the past I never really considered purchasing a region free player, let alone discs from other regions. BUT.....with just about everything it seems from Anchor Bay, BCI, Subversive, etc, etc going out of print over the last few months. I think I need to look at a better alternative than the pressure of trying to quickly find alot of these titles from these companies before they dry up. I noticed that X-Ploited seems to be done or phasing out. So that leaves me with Diabolik DVD. I'm wondering how their customer service is? And for those who have purchased from them, Do you recommend them? Thanks in advance for any info.

i love ordering from them, prices are usually very cheap and they get stuff before the street date. i have ordered from them a lot and have never had a problem.

I only dissagree with the bolded part. this is not the case at all as I find them very expensive but otherwise they are legit and I've never had any problems.

diabolik is all good. xploited the same, if not better, so im sad to see them go.

I bought a few DVD's from Diabolik a few years ago, and had no problems.

The only reason I never bought more was that their stock favored horror movies (obviously) and I'm not a horror fan.

I recently made my first order with Diabolik and was very pleased. A cheaper (or free) shipping option would be nice but they sent my order out Priority mail and I had it in 2 days.

You are paying a fairly high price, but they have some hard to find stuff.

Xploitedcinema is probably my favorite site to order from just because Tony was so good to everyone that needed help. He had so much that I couldn't find anywhere else, its sad to see them go. Hopefully Diabolik will soon get the stock xploited once had

No reason not to still order from xploitedcinema... they're still doing business, just not getting new stock. If you can't find it elsewhere, go with them. Tony has been great with us all these years and we'll miss him once the site closes. Also, check with the site every now and then. Twice they've had 15% sales.

Diabolik has very fast shipping but, as others said, they're a little more expensive. If I find something on Diabolik that I want, I'll check to see if Amazon has it (you might be surprised what they will carry)... usually Amazon will be cheaper.

TomOpus, thanks for giving the clarity on X-Ploited. Their webpage
had me just a little confused as to what the situation was. I'm
hoping they might still have a title or two or ten that I need.

When I got the Ercoli Death boxset it was something like $5 for priority mail... though it did get to me in 2 days after ordering.

I had nothing but great transactions with the two companies and would highly give them a recommendation. Superfast shipping, great communication, etc. Sad to see Xploited going.
