The OP bumped the thread. Sad.

I am impressed by that sign. I was expecting a crappy, hand-written sign on some loose leaf notebook paper, but that screams quality. That picture just solidified the thread as a classic.

Stopped by Target to pick up a few items.

There was an LAPD patrol car parked at the front entrance. I walked in and 2 LAPD officers were in the process of cuffing a guy at the snack bar!

Maybe lovgun7 finally got busted for sipping too many free icees.

lovgun7, was that you?

If he is in prison, I doubt he'll respond.

In prison, the term "Slurpees" takes on a whole new meaning...

I haven't been on in well over a month ... this is still going on!?

And just for the record ... that sign says "Please" -- that makes it nothing more than a suggestion/request. Slurp away!!

Today, I had lunch in a Subway that was located just inside my local Wal-mart. Their drink machine had a sign on it that if you left the store and returned for a refill you would be charged 55 cents. Refills while you remained in Subway would continue to be free. Of course, YMMV.

Glad to hear that you were not busted for sipping free icee refills. Jail would have been very unpleasant...

A while back I had to help a friend with bail. (The bail bondsman would not take his extensive dvd/blu-ray collection as collateral for the bond)

The Los Angeles County Men's Central Jail (just north of downtown LA) is a very foul and nasty place. My friend begged me to bring him cigarettes and condoms!

Ha Ha! No it was not me. I even loaned him $500 to help bail his sorry and sore ass out of jail.

Just in case you do get busted for sipping free icee refills, I think you should watch the following dvds...

1. Oz - all of the season sets

2. Prison Break - all of the season sets

3. Harold and Kumar Escape From Guantanamo Bay

You never know when the info might come in handy.

They do say "any size", so just bring in a 5-gallon bucket.

I haven't had any sort of -ee in years. If I would have known I could have saved my cup for future uses, I would have been indulging weekly, especially since I lived within walking distance of Target.

You'll have to forgive me for the major thread bump. The video in this tweet is hilarious. And it brought back memories of this classic DVDTalk moment.

Re: Targets No Longer Allowing Free Refills on Icee YMMV

So, I never knew this thread existed, either that or I forgot about since it was 8 years ago. So am I a bad person because I go to Bullritos, order and pay for the Frozen Lemonade...usually drink that and then fill up with another drink when I leave? Just curious if I should request a last meal before the firing squad gets here..
