Amazon- Package Lost?

How long do I wait, before I report a package lost/missing? The package according to tracking, it hasn't moved in over a week.

Where is it stuck at?

I had the same for something at Amazon and when I contacted their support apparently they said someone denied the reception of the package or something and thus returned back to Amazon.

i think amazon has estimated delivery dates for all shipments, so i think youd have to wait until you are outside of that time frame before anything else.

Packages sometimes don't get scanned at every point in the route. In my experience, tracking is fairly reliable, but it hasn't been reliable every single time.

Go to your post office and see if they can track it.

I had an experience where a package was shipped from Amazon and it arrived at the mail center in Los Angeles. Some mail clerk loaded it back onto the truck/plane and it was rerouted to Newark, NJ. From there it was sent out again and then finally arrived back in LA a few days later than what Amazon had predicted the arrival date would be.

It took several days before any tracking information showed up after being mistakenly placed on its reroute trip. The post office's fault--not Amazon's.
