Best Buy price guarantee question when using RZ cert
Say I bought something at Best Buy for 7.50 while using a $5 RZ cert. and then the next week they had the same item for $4.99. If I go to do a price match, will there be any issue since the new price will be under $5, what the RZ value was?
|
nope, you get the $2.5+ tax back.

i'm not so sure that's the case. reward zone certs aren't like a coupon. they directly lower the price of the item on the receipt. for instance, instead of showing $10 price for an item and then a separate $5 off on the receipt, it just deducts the $5 off the purchase price of the item showing it to be $5 now.

Listen to Deftones. The price they sold it to you for was $7.50 - (some portion of the $5 cert). Since there's a $10 minimum requirement, you likely paid very close to $7.50 for it. The most they'll do is match you down to $4.99 and you'll get the difference + tax back but you'll lose the portion of the $5 RZ cert you used on it.
Just let it go unless you're going anyway and the buck or two is worth your time at the counter. |
Just refund/rebuy. The cert points will go back in your RZ bank and you'll pay the lower out of pocket price.

it will work, i work at best buy and it will work.
