Best Buy RZ Certificates

I am currently not in the US but have a $5 RZ certificate, can I just let my brother print it out and use it? I'm gonna ask him to get me Child's Play. :P

That should be fine, but make sure he prints out a temporary Reward Zone card too as they ask for it when you use the certificate.

Just have your brother give them YOUR phone number and name at checkout. Pay with cash and he won't have problem using RZC

I've done this a few times...it helps that me and my brother are identical twins.

Unfortunately we're not identical twins. :p

They don't ask for any form of identification as long as you tell them that the person that pops up on the system is you and you pay with cash, right?

i've never had anyone ask for my information when using a certificate. and i haven't had to input my RZ card on the transaction to use the certificate either... i don't think it would matter if they paid using credit/debit card either.

Oh btw, he has his own RZ card. Can he use his card just in case the cashier asks for it? Or is there some sort of identifier on the RZ certificate? Thanks again!

As many times as I have taken these certs, I have never been prompted to ask for ID to redeem them. Just give them your brother's phone number so he gets any points involved, tho.

As far as I can tell, you can give them away to anyone.
