Barnes and Noble ...if I become member do I get online price, in-store?

I am wondering if I get a membership online, will I get the online price at the B&M? And if i get membership online, can i use the discount at a store prior to recieving card? Thanks.

You will normally NOT get the same price in-store as online. Some promotions are the same, and bargain books are generally the same price in both, but otherwise, no.

And yes, I should be able to use the discount in the BM before getting the card. Many times I have gone into the BM and instead of presenting my card they ask for the phone number and look it up that way. So I did not even need my card.
