Question about waldenbooks?

I just had my birthday recently and received a cd from a relative that i already have. He said that he got it from borders but there is a waldenbooks closer to me, can i do a return to waldenbooks with an item from Borders? I know that Borders owns Waldenbooks but i don't know if there would be a problem returning the item there? Anyone know? Thanks

You would need a recent to return to either.

I imagine you mean receipt?

Borders (and therefore Walden) allows returns w/o receipt. The item has to be in their inventory, and you get store credit for the lowest price that item has been sold for recently.

Most other chains often allow returns w/o receipt, but it is YMMV of course, and you're more likely to succeed right after Christmas obviously.

Waldenbooks does not really carry CD's and DVD's. Maybe a couple but they do not have cd/dvd sections, so they would probably not accept it.
