Netflix: Releasing This Week?

Has anyone else noticed that this feature is now missing from the main Netflix page? I used to use this to determine what I'd be adding to my queue each week. Without it, I'm lost as to what's being released. Also, adding each movie individually is a pain in the ass.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I generally know what's coming out as well thanks to that list. It's just a pain in the ass to not have everything listed right there on the site so I don't have to enter in each movie's name individually.

Apparently the feature is being rebuilt. If you click on the "community blog" link at the bottom of any Netflix page, there is a short bit on what is happening.

Thanks for that info. Looking through the comments posted actually gave me a way to access the page.

Yes, It stinks! I have other suggestions for Netflix, but has anyone found a way to actually contact Customer Services?

You'll have to have the 6 digit Customer Identification number ready when you call. You can find that at the bottom of every page.

A random Netflix question, but I didn't want to start a new thread.

Can anyone else add Rush Hour 3 on Blu-Ray? I can only add it on SD-DVD, I've never had this problem before but nothing seems to be working.

I'm not seeing a Blu-Ray edition of it at all anywhere on the site. So I don't think it's just you.

I noticed they only have Shoot Em Up on SD-DVD also...what's up with that? Netflix has been great for the month I had them, but starting to slowly suck already

Netflix 'releasing This Week' Feature

has Netflix lost their minds in eliminating the 'Releasing this Week' feature?

Thanks to input on this forum I've gone to DVD Talk's page on new releases. Does anyone know if this list is as complete as the Netflix list. While this list is helpful, the absence of listing by genre, is a drag.
Has anyone had any positive experience in complaining about this to Netflix on their Customer Service toll free number.

Netflix has been a nightmare for the past month for me. This removal of the 'releasing This Week' Feature only adds to the shit service I have been getting. This is the way my Netflix subscription ends...

The listing might be a bit different as the Netflix list usually includes titles that have been out for a while but that they are just getting in.

I spoke to a CSR who seemed very understanding about it and said lots of people were calling in to complain. Apparently every call is logged so by all means, call and give them a piece of your mind!

I read last night in the Netflix Community Blog in a post by "Michael From Netflix", the person apparently in charge of the blog that this was done as an attempt to slow down the demand on brand new titles. I guess the people(like myself) who would add new releases to the top of their queue from the Releasing This Week page put a massive strain on Netflix's ability to stock the newest titles. Basically, it seems as if Netflix is trying to cater to the lower level users.
