Question about Netflix
I'm trying out the 2 week free trial..I've been a Blockbuster (in-store) customer for ages.
After renting all the week's big titles I often wander through the aisles and find om movies I've never heard of. Sometimes it's the box that catches my eye, or I stand and read the back.
How do you find these "hidden" gems on Netflix? Seems like its taking me ages to find anything I'm curious to see.

I rated all of the movies I could remember seeing, and then used their recommendations.
Every time I come across a thread here asking for recommendations in a genre I like, I add those movies.
If I like a certain actor/director, I'll add those movies, even if I've never heard of them.
Use the "Top 10 Lists" on the community page of Netflix, despite the fact that most of them have way more than 10 movies.
My queue went from about 100 movies I wanted to see, to the max 500 with a "Top 10 List" of extra movies, within 6 months.

easiest thing to do is spend an hour or two sometime and just rate a TON of movies.
