Question on applying for a Sears Card online

If I apply for a Sears Card online, and assuming I'm approved, do they give you an account number to use instantly?

There's a number of discounts to be had tomorrow night during a Friends & Family sale and I'd like to get a new TV.

I would guess no. You'd probably be better off applying in-store as they can usually do an instant-credit type thing.
