question 'bout Google checkout

They ask for phone number.I gave them mine,BUT have yet to click on the link in my email they sent,nor have I used my $10 off,yet.
Do they always call you?What do they ask?Hell,they already have my personal info including CC info.

I've never received a call from them. I've used their service twice. Buy.com and DVD Empire.
