Does Price Match (PM) work at DeepDiscount.com ?

According to Pricing and Availability Policy published on their web-site if any on-line retailer is selling any DVD at a price lower than that of DD (including taxes and shipping), a mail has to be sent to [email protected] with PRICE MATCH in subject lline. DD will then match the price.

Has it worked for anyone ?

I've never had any luck trying. They either never responded or they took so long to get back to me that the item was no longer on sale.

My exact experience. So I just bought them from the original place before their sale ended and I never did get a response from DD. Some people have reported success though they add in shipping charges into their PM.

My experience was they PM'd w/shipping from competitor site even though competitor site had free shipping after a certain $$ amount. The order with DD was over that amount. I got a whopping $0.15 PM (returned to my Credit Card - probably cost more for the transaction). Anyway, I did not shop there for quite a while. I finally broke down during one of their sales when things were too inexpensive to pass up.
