DeepDiscount - The Phantom Orders
Just wondering if this has happened to anyone else, since DD changed their website......
I've had 2 orders where in 1 order items did not appear on the 'confirmation' email, and another situation where the email wasn't recieved. In both instances - DD have stated that they 'cannot' see these items on my orders (even though they are as clear as mud on MY ORDERS screen !!) - therefore they wont ship. I recently ordered INLAND EMPIRE - and WAITED FOR NEARLY 2 weeks whilst it was 'processing' for an IN STOCK item. I forwarded DD an email asking what happened to a specific order number - only to be emailed back with some OTHER TITLE (NOTHING LIKE MY ORDER) and that it was SHIPPED. An email back asking 'what the ***' has not seen any answer to that order. I subsequently placed another order for INLAND and its since been shipped. What is it with these 'phantom orders' on the DD site - that they can't see - but i can clearly see on My Orders page ?? (the original INLAND order is just remaining in their 'processing' state - like the missing items from my other order.... just waiting in limbo) |
I have an order from March 3rd, 2007, where I ordered 4 items, but only 1 shipped, and the rest, DD says "doesn't exist" whe clearly I ordered 4.....
Still says "processing" but they claim it's been cancelled. They can't see it, although I still can. |
