I notice the Best Buy coupons in the mail say they exempt Apple (TM) iPods. Am I reading this correctly in that all other Apple products are fair game and that only the iPods will not get the discount?

Has anybody successfully used the 12% coupon an Apple product at BB?

All Apple products are normally excluded, as well as Bose and a few other manufacturers.

Even if it does not explicitly state on the coupon this time around (it should on the back,) when the associate scans it and the apple product, POS will not prompt to take it off.

I remember hearing my supervisors talking about how Bose does not allow resellers to discount their products at all, and if they did (for example we make an Open-Item out of a Bose speaker system,) they could actually stop us from carrying their products. (Oh darn..)

Not sure if it's 100% fact but I know that for the last 2 years the customer appreciation coupons exclude ALL apple products.

Yeah. All of the BBs I frequent in my area have Apple "stores" inside them.

Thanks for clarifying. I figured it applied to all Apple products, or rather didn't as it were.
