Looking to buy this camcorder.. Thoughts about a "cheap" online price?
 

We are going on vacation pretty soon and my wife wants a new camcorder. So we've been looking around and she likes the DCR-SR200 from Sony.

Looking around..

I called them and they said all the extras are "generic' and are not Sony brands.

Thoughts? The web site says it is brand new and shipping is free so it sounds like a great deal but I'm always unsure about great deals. Has anyone dealt with this company?

This place sounds a lot like bestpricecameras.com that is being discussed a few threads down. I would steer clear of them.

check pricegrabber.com. it can be found there for less than $640 after shipping from a few well known online stores.
