Best place to buy HDMI cables online?
I know that HDMI cables sold in stores are remarkably overpriced, so I'd like to find somewhere online that I can buy a quality HDMI cable for a reasonable price.
I've seen a few sites that sell them for good prices and had good reputations among internet dwellers, however the sites were bookmarked on my old work computer that I do not have anymore. Thanks. |

What they said. monoprice.com

I'll also echo monoprice.com. You can also pick up a cheap HDMI cable at Best Buy if you know someone that works there. Rocketfish is a Best Buy house brand that retails north of $50. However, BB employees can get these cables for around $5 a pop.

Another vote for monoprice.com

I bought a manual 2 way HDMI switch and 3 3ft HDMI cables from monoprice and have had no problems with it all |
Whatever you do, DON'T BUY FROM MONOPRICE.COM!!!
(sorry, couldn't resist) |
Well, ok, I guess that answers my question.
Thanks!!! |
i like monoprice.com

Just in case it hasn't been said already, monoprice.

Go into Best Buy and demand their finest, most expensive cables. Surely for 10x the price, you must get 10x the quality!

Besides price, what's the diff between these two cables? What do these mean?

Monoprice turns me into a loon. Last week at work this girl was telling me about the TV she ordered from Best Buy and the $80 she spent on an HDMI cable. I immediately turned into Mono Man and demanded she return her cable. She did! haha Hate seeing people waste money like that.

AWG meansAmerican Wire Gauge and is standard of measure for the thickness of wire where the SMALLER the number, the THICKER it is. The rule of thumb is the longer the cable, the thicker it should be. For anything less than 12ft you should be perfectly fine with the thinner cable, and chances are you'd be fine even at 25ft.
Monoprice turns me into a loon. |
Not sure if anyone has mentioned it yet, but Monoprice.com is pretty good.

I like monoprice, but I prefer Blue Jeans Cable

22AWG 24AWG http://www.monoprice.com/products/su...d=10240&style= It's how thick the wire is. Shouldn't make any difference. |
i've given up on arguments where people are 'explaining' to me how their $130 cable is 'better' than the cheaper ones
*points to Monster logo on blister pack* SEE?!? haha i can't believe my marketing professors were so right about everything |

Even the engineers who designed HDMI and do the HDMI conformance testing buy their cables from monoprice. You can't get more authoritative than that. |
