Deep Discount DVD Price Matching
 

Sorry if this has been discussed before but I couldn't find the thread for it.

I recently sent their cs an email regarding a PM. There is suppose to be a 1 business day turn around for a reply and it has been 3 business days now and I haven't receive any email back.

Has anyone encounter such a problem with DDD and their price matching practice?

I gave up trying to get price matches from them. They either flat out never respond to my emails or they take so long the sale or discounted price is no longer valid.

Exactly my experience...

The exception was when ddd.ca was active. They seemed to be quick, which is strange, since I think it was the same CS people.

Same experience here. I tried to get them to price match a bunch of Criterion prices late last year at their affilliated company, DVDPlanet. They never, ever responded and then the Google deals appeared so I ordered from DVDP after all.

yeah, i haven't gotten anything back from them yet. i do have a pdf of the webpage with the price and the date on it if they need to verify anything. that is if they ever email me back.

I remember now that the first e-mail I sent DDD did get a response from them: they asked me to send them a link to the appropriate webpage. After I did send weblinks of their sister company's CC prices, then they never responded.

I tried to price match a year or two ago and never got any response from them. When I called and asked directly, they put me on hold and hung up on me. Very unprofessional :( I don't buy from them any more.

They don't answer my emails regarding customer service, so I don't even bother anymore. I pick up the phone and call. Can you call them with price matches? (I assume not).

I tried to pricematch once, and by the time they got back to me, the sale was over. Not worth the effort, in my experience.
