Amazon problem
 

Hello Friends,

Have a bit of a problem. I'm trying to order the 15th Anniversary Edition of RESERVOIR DOGS from Amazon. After I put it into my cart and proceed to checkout, it defaults the quanity to 5 pieces. It won't allow me to order just one copy.

I've noticed this with a few other titles like PREDATOR CE and TREASURE OF SIERRA MADRE 2-Disc SE. I called Amazon and they seem to have no clue.

Has anyone else encountered this?

Weird...have you tried clearing out all your "cookies"? Try that then sign out/sign in and see what happens. Also, try using a different browser (Firefox, etc).

This was the response I got after a few months of "research" regarding this problem.

I have checked on this problem for you. It would appear that before
the problem began there were placed several orders placed for the
item (which were subsequently cancelled for whatever reason),
unfortunately the system has caught/counted these towards the limit
of this DVD that can be purchased.

The quickest solution to this problem would be for you to open a new
account and place your order in that new account. You can use the
same e-mail address on the new account, you would need to pick a
different password however.

I had the exact same problem. Amazon CS were clueless. I ended up cancelling the order.

Thankfully the same items I had tried to order were cheaper at DDD a few weeks later.
