Okay, so I've been trying to get my hands on a couple of soon-to-be Out Of Print dvd's and have had a couple of bad experiences (see my Hook Me Up Home Theater post below).

I placed an order with Best Prices, it said they had 5 copies of a certain title in stock. Two days later, I had not recieved an order confirmation so I checked the site. The title said "Out Of Stock".

No confirmation, no backorder notification, no record of my order on the site, nothing.

Anyway my point is, if you are considering shopping at Best Prices, their On Hand quantity reflects their distributor's inventory, not theirs. I don't know if they actually stock anything at all.

The happy ending here is that Google Checkout had a record of everything, the purchase, the backorder, and an easy refund request form.

So, Google Checkout = Wasssup... Best Prices = Nicht Nicht.
