What calls for a charge back on a credit card?
I recently purchased a treadmill, and I do not have a correct electrical set up to use it (it is 220V which I only have for the dryer). I was never told anything about it needing this kind of power, and the store will not accept a return or exchange. Would this justify a chargeback?
If not, what does justify one?

Some credit cards will give you Buyers Protection that if the store will not take it back they will either work with the store or re-pay you up to a certain limit per item and per year.
I have never used it and do not know if the item is "returned" or not and to whom in this situation.
AMEX has this as well as IIRC Mastercard, then if so probably Visa too.
