Playcentric bit the dust?
I know they have a message on their website that says they have taken the site down for upgrades (if you try and click on any items), but it's been like that for weeks, so I'm starting to think the worst!
They don't owe me money or DVDs, it's not anything like that. It's just that I found them a good retailer to deal with and I miss them. I really hope they are going to come back!
So anyone know anything about what's going on there?

From their website. Don't know how long it has been up as I don't shop their often either, but I hate it when companies give no anticipated date of action is set and leave it open ended like that.
Dear Customers,
Many, many thanks for an exceptional holiday season at www.playcentric.com
In order for us to continue to serve you with the same level of commitment to excellence, we are undergoing a major technical infrastructure upgrade. We expect that this upgrade will last about 2 weeks.
We are not unique in having to expand the technical back end due to the ever increasing numbers of web-shoppers. Old Navy, Gap, Banana Republic also had to close their online stores prior to this holiday season. (http://www.usatoday.com/tech/news/20...-offline_x.htm)
Look forward to serving you again shortly

Noticed this a few weeks ago....good riddens! However, I orderedfrom them twice, got the dvds.... but it sure took a while.
I say good riddens due to others that have had nothing but problems with them.
SG may have not gotten hit with customs using them, so that is probably why he gives them the
