Dr. Strangelove 2-disc for $14.99 @ Borders

All the $9.99 Superbits @ Best Buy before they officially went on sale. So at the time, getting them at half price was a good deal.

$3.44 titles @ Walmart.

Smallville Season 4 for $24.99 @ Target. Arrested Development Season 2 for $14.99 at Best Buy. The quality of this show makes this a great deal.

Definitely the $5.99 boxsets... picked up 35 of them! Took care of most of my Christmas shopping, and got a lot of new sets... good times.

No REAL great DVD deals for me....just the average sale. I missed the Target Box-Set sale.

Most of mine were with VideoGames. I had enough credit at GameRush to pay for my XBOX 360, 10 360 games and about 20 other games over the year. I probably spent less than $200 for everything too.

Yeah no fantastic dvd deals for me either. My best would be Jeeves and Wooster megaset for $48, or else Batman TAS 1-3 for $60something a couple months ago.

My best deal is a tie between paying $28 for the Limited Edition Ultimate Matrix Collection from Columbia House and getting Arrested Development Seasons 1 & 2 for free from Amazon.

As many have already stated, the $5.99 boxsets from Target. I picked up quite a few discs that day, and it was definately fun times running around to different Targets and getting followed by their security goons.

Other than that, I got a bunch of used Criterions for under $10 a piece at various places around town.

There were lots of deals to be had, but those are probably my best two of the year.

Target - 5.99 Box Sets (by far the best; picked up Band of Brothers and more)
Best Buy - Aladdin for $3.99 after coupon; The Shield seasons for $20 each on BF
Borders - 2 for $22, Dr. Strangelove 40th AE & Halloween 25th AE
Circuit City - All around low prices on new releases (usually $1+ lower than BB)

Spongebob Seasons 1 and 2 - $5.99 each at Target
Now and Then, Here and There complete set - $11 at BestPrices.com
Fear and Loathing (Criterion) - $9.99 at Gamestop

and once Best Buy gets it in stock, I'll price match an old Wal-Mart ad for Nip/Tuck season 1 at $13.72.

And I'll also keep checking my Wal-Mart for Smallville season 2 at $13.

That Blockbuster trade in any dvd get $8 credit
was pretty sweet. I finally used up credit this
month. Took almost a year to do it.

Also overstocks $1 used dvds.
