Is there anywhere to find out which Suncoast stores are closing? I had two in my hometown area (one in each mall, 20 minutes apart) but the nearer one closed about 4-5 years ago. I'd hate it if the other one (Niles, OH) were to go too.

Since I'm at college in Athens, OH, and Columbus is just about an hour away, I'm already planning on taking a trip there this weekend to check out the 4 area Media Plays (at least there are 4 in the area according to the website, lol).

More news that doesn't surprise me!

Suncoast is only semi-decent in their collectibles.. other than that, I never go in.

Is that the one on Eureka in Taylor?

Late to this thread, and I would have guessed Waterford/Pontiac (where there is also BB right across the street). The MP there closed early last year, and I'm surprised they lasted that long, considering how ridiculously high their prices were

yeah the one on Eureka is the only one ive been to. really the only time I ever bought anything there was when I couldnt find it at BB or CC, and even then I usually had to debate whether I wanted to pay that much more when I did find it. The selection was always surprisingly good, but the mall store prices kept a lot of people away. I did like that they usually had the free local rags there, one of the more convenient places to find them downriver.
