Just got off the phone with them, I'm set up for paperless statements and get it via email. My company set up tighter spam filters and I missed a month's payment while on vacation. I pay my bill off every month so I was upset to see that I had missed a payment and been tagged with nearly $150 in late/finance fees. They took it off without hesitation and I paid the balance off right then. I was impressed with such a large adjustment (large to me) without hassle. Thanks Discover!

I have to say that in my experience, they have been the most customer-friendly credit card I have. It could be because I pay off the balance every month, but it works for me.

I think most will waive a late fee at least the first time for a "curtousey".
Citi Card (Mastercard) did the same for me for $30+ late fee/finance charge. I had no excuse but I told them I had never made a late payment before and they had waived it no problem.

Good to hear that! On the other hand, I hope you never do miss a payment, as Discover cards are two-cycle billing, which is a very bad thing.
