rebate problem from Coconuts...
 

Ok
I picked up "Land of the Dead" last month, October 26, at Coconuts for $19.99 with a $7.00 mail in rebate.
I mailed in the rebate within a few days of the purchase, with all requirements met.

I sent in:
#1 the original rebate form (printed at Coconuts)
#2 original cash register receipt dated 10/14/05 - 10/31/05 (copy printed at Coconuts october 26, 2005)
#3 original UPC bar code from the package (I did, it wasnt a copy)
#4 SUBMISSION MUST BE POSTMARKED BY 12/01/05

also stated on rebate form "Valid rebate period from 10/14/05 - 10/31/05"

anyhow, I mailed everything in, everything in order, and I get my stuffed envelope back a few days ago with a stamp from the USPS stating "BOX CLOSED- NO ORDER, BOX SECTION GMF 33152-9998"

what ?!?!
the post mark on the envelope was October 31st, well before the "submission must be postmarked by 12/01/05" clause.

And yes, the address and po box was correct.

so......
anyone have a contact number so I can call somebody and complain ?
Anyone ever have this problem before ?
I already looked at their website. rebateshq.com. and there is nothing on there in regards to my situation.

edit: strange, I just looked at the ONLINE rebate listing for this, and there it states that it is valid 10-18 thru 10-24 only. BUT, here it states that the postmark must be by 11-25...

edit: ahhhh , i just found a place to email somebody. and even that was a mess. we'll see what happens...
