My first package arrived today (minus 2 backordered items), exactly 1 week from the date or order. I didn't use the expediant shipping for that order so I had no expectations. One disc was out of its case but I did a Nero test on it and there's no damage to the disc.

A stat I'd love to see, but is probably not easy to get, is how the code DVDTALK compares this November to last summer and last November? in other words, are more people using the code? Are the people who use it spending more this year than before?

Also, for those of us too lazy to figure it out ourselves - how does the post count for this year's threads compare to the summer sale or last year's?

As for someone wanting the stats of how many orders used the DVDTALK code, and how much the total was, I don't have my program set up with anything to do with the codes. If I wanted to calculate that, I'd have to go back through all the threads and redo the list, which is definately not gonna happen. Also, a number of people didn't include which code they used, so the numbers would be hugely inaccurate anyways.

I placed 5 small orders and received first package today; packing slip showed 4 items, but only 3 were in box. (email also said the 4th item had shipped out the same day as the other items); guess I'll wait a few days to see if the missing item is combined with something else before I panic. Here's another statistic. According to my order numbers, there were 49702 other orders placed between 11/10 and 11/15. That means that all the orders posted on DVDTalk represent less than 2% of the total orders during the sale (assuming consecutive order numbers). Someone with a wider range of order dates can calculate a more accurate number.

I was thinking of picking up South Park: The Complete First Season, but decided not to at the last minute. I do have two questions for people who own the boxset


1) Is there a "play all" button, where I can watch all the episodes seemlessly on the disc?

2) In the show, they bleep out the cuss words that they are saying, on the DVD's are they bleeped as well, or are they uncensored? Personally I hope they leave them in, as I thought it added to the humour element.

Hmmmm. My backordered Buffy Collection has changed it's status from "BACKORDER" to "PREORDER", and the expected ship date was 11/26, now it's 11/15.....

Something strange happened to my order. My order says that is still in process but the Wrestlemania Anthology that i ordered is not listed anymore in my order and its says on the website that the product is not available anymore. I hope that they ship my set as soon as possible including the WM set.

During the June sale, one of my orders was missing an item (MASH season ???). I called them up the same day and they sent it out a few days later, no problems at all.

During the June 04 sale, i ordered MASH season 1, and they sent season 2, I decided to keep it since it was for my dad, and it worked out better anyways, as I ended up getting season 1 from amazon for $15. Not sure what DDD has against MASH, but season 7 & 8 came in fine today.
