Special Order Groceries

Hey,

I looking to order a few items that are not available in any stores in my area. Specifically, Barqs Red Creme soda (which I could get anywhere in Ohio) and Krusteaz Scone Mix (which I used to get in Seattle.) I live in central Florida now, and I can't find either of these products. Does anyone know of a store (either on-line or B&M) where I could special order stuff like this?

Thanks,
Unno

Just do a search when you get there. Won't let me link directly to the page.

Thanks a lot for the links, Dave. The prices are even pretty good, as long as you buy in bulk. Does anyone have any ideas on the Barqs?

Believe it or not, most grocery stores will do this for you if you ask the manager. They may even start stocking the product on the shelves if they think there will be enought demand.

Yeah especially at Publix since you are in C. Florida. Just go ask the manager and they will order it for you and should have it in pretty quickly.

Very cool. There's a Publix right down the street. Do they charge a fee for this sort of service?

Not at all...And most of the time the store managers are pretty eager to please, at least that is what I have found with Publix any ways.

Went in today and placed the order. I'm supposed to get a call in a few days to let me know if they can get it.

Thanks a lot,
Unno
