Use to go to the store all the time to buy LD's.

Since got into DVD and moving about 20 miles further away haven't been there in years.

Are they still in business?

Same location on Ogden Avenue?

If so, how is their selection? What discounts do they offer on DVD's?

Yep, it's still there. Lot's of DVD's. Lot's of Oddities. No more LD's though. And of course they do have a large selection of pron. Prices seem competitive with Best Buy and the likes. I think most titles are 20% off.

I actually moved to Westmont straight out of college just to be near that store (at the time, selling and renting just laserdiscs). Built up a huge collection of movies renting lasers and taping them (thanks to the lack of Macrovision on LDs).

And yes, each trip usually ends up as a surreal experience with George the owner berating his employees in a huge, booming baritone. He speaks to those people like they're his personally-owned slaves. It's rather amusing, but not for the squeamish.
