Arrival delays with ThaiNetCity?

As mentioned in post #48 (and beyond) of this thread, a couple of us have experienced considerable delays with the arrival of orders from ThaiNetCity.

We both received shipping notices, which tell you to contact them if your order has not arrived within 28 days. I e-mailed them last night, and received a reply from "Nash" within the hour, telling me that they will follow up with the Post Office. That's where things stand for now.

Has anyone else experienced this issue with them? If so, how (and how quickly) was it resolved? Thanks.

I placed an order there last month and chose FedEx as the shipper. Worked great, came right away. If you're buying DVDs that cheap from overseas and FedEx is an option, it's usually worth it.

Thanks, renaldow. I'll remember the FedEx option in the future. Fortunately, I'm in no rush to get the discs, but 4+ weeks seems a bit excessive. Even media mail from Deep Discount DVD is quicker than that.

I just received an update. While the post office is investigating the order, ThaiNetCity is going to ship a new order to me! They had my correct address on file, but they wanted to verify my address just in case, so it should be in the mail soon.

Unfortunately, I'm going to have to put the mail on hold for a couple of weeks since I'll be on my honeymoon, but I hope it will be waiting for me (er...us) when we get back.

Well...the first order was indeed waiting for us when we returned. Shipped 8/29, arrived 10/18. The second order is still en route, so I'll just Return To Sender when it arrives in mid-December.

They are a little slow, but I found that they are pretty reliable...It seems more and more shippers are taking longer and longer now. Especially companines out of other countries.
