Best Buy Reward Zone Certificate Question

I noticed in the DVD Bargains forum that BB is going to offer a $20.00 price reduction if folks buy their exclusive Space Above and Beyond DVD along with the purchase of a Firefly, X-Files, or Millenium DVD, and I also happen to have $30.00 in certificates burning a whole in my pocket...will they allow me to use the RZ Certs on these DVDS to take an additional $30.00 off the cost of these DVDs.

The chance to shave-off $50.00 from the cost of these two DVDs would be incredible, making them quite a bargain indeed. I am asking this question because I have never tried using an RZ cert in conjunction with one of their if you buy X along with Z we will knock Y off the price promotions.

Regards,
Christopher H

I don't see where that would be a problem. The RZ certificates would be just like using a gift card, except that the price has to be at least $10 to use the RZ cert, and you can't go less than $0.

You shouldn't have any problem under that situation. However, for future use, I would only add the cavet of using RZ certificates on items that you KNOW you will not return, and probabally won't be able to pricematch (unless they are on the verge of expiration - However, I don't ever make it that long...). When they have such a special as the $ off when you buy multiples like that, the pricematching possibilities are usually covered anyway.

They have fixed the problem with returns and RZ certs. If you return merchandise that you used a cert on the value of those points get added back to your RZ account and will be re-sent out as a cert when you hit your selected threshold again.

That I am quite well aware of, but it will STILL be more than a month before you get your "value" back in hand.
