nov 04 would be fine, as the old rules were in place back then.

the terms back then stated that they didn't save your CC #, that the only refunds they gave were in store credit..you can't get any of the "help" pages that were accesible when you logged in because those were secure pages, so if there was any type of "refund" request form back then ..it wasn't cached..

Yeah, so the ecommerce is ill defined, they can take your money and they don't give it back!

Lucky VISA came to my rescue.

Hope they go under.

www.deepdiscount.com did my first order and very happy with their service, the US discs look better quality then the canadian ones and don't have space on the discs wasted with French, so I'm ordering from USA now stuff Canada especially after all my complaining to their regulatory authorities about the non-refund of my credits came on deaf ears...

Where do you live Sabretoothed?

Well I've only got a week now till they can make another claim against my chargebacks - so it's definately looking positive!

I've use deepdiscount and they are pretty good - a little slow though, even on pre-ordered stuff - about 4 weeks.

Playing it safe though now and Amazon-ing often!

The site is now down...for good maybe?

dvdnutty 11-29-05 09:05 AM

They are gone, in bankruptcy and the owner tried to sell the DVDSoon website on Ebay as well. Ebay link

Goldberg 11-29-05 01:41 PM

Hi all,

This is my first post. I found the forum after looking for info on DVDSoon as they owe me over $100.

I would like to be involved in any legal proceedings if any are to arise from this forum please.

I have been trying to get my mmoney back for nearly 4 months now! They changed their policy the day before my items were to be sent out, then I found out that they would not be sent!!!

Thanks.

You are not alone--they still owe me about $300CAD--I was only able to get about 2/3 of my money back from the credit card company.

DVDSoon Warning!!!

Hi Again,
As an add on to my previous post. Can people please spread the word around as the Canadian Police had not had any other complaints about DvDsoon.
E-mail and make your complaints about the scam to the Canadian Police at [email protected] and subject it to DvDsoon!!! Let us work together to get our money back and raise public awarness about the scam.

andicus 11-30-05 02:13 AM

FWIW, the website is back up...

I think you meant [email protected] for http://www.phonebusters.com/ right?

I was correcting the previous posts you had where the email provided was [email protected] instead of info@phonebuster"<b>s</b>".com

Fincher Fan 12-03-05 10:00 PM

Looks like their site is down again.

Fincher Fan 12-03-05 11:42 PM

I recommend them highly, Rocky. Never heard of a single complaint against them and they answer e-mails promptly.

Umm Their site has been down for a week, are you being sarcastic or just slightly under the average IQ of the Human Race.

Still no refunds for all the previously cancelled DVDSoon.com orders. Anyone else have any luck getting your hard earned cash back from DVDSoon.com?

I think it is plainly obvious that you need to do chargebacks through your credit card issuer as this would seem the only recourse.
