Amazon.com shipping speed?
 

When I order from Amazon, I usually order enough to get free shipping.

However, I will be going out of town and a DVD that I would like to watch on my portable comes out of course on a Tuesday, but I am leaving Monday. If I choose next day shipping is there any possibility it would arrive on a Monday? Or do they not really ship them until the release date?

Only twice have I gotten DVDs early, once with super saver shipping I got them on a Saturday when I shouldn't have gotten them until Tuesday.

There is a possibility, but I wouldn't choose the next day shipping option for the hope that it would come early. If Amazon's shipment arrives late, there's a good chance you wouldn't see it early at all and it will just get there quicker after you've already left.

Amazon shipping prep is soooo damn slow!

Any suggestions on what online store has the best possibility of getting me something on a Monday?
