Best place to sell my old DVDs

I am trying to thin out my collection and also get rid of those movies I know I will "eventually" replace with HD DVD or BR

I am too lazy to ebay so I am looking for an online or B&M merchant to witch i can offload a mother load of old DVD's all at once.

Tried a search or two with no results and my local movie gallery want's to buy them back at $ 0.60 a DVD (what the ....)

Do you have a list of the DVDs you want to sell? You'd probably receive a better price by selling them in the DVD EXCHANGE forum.

See what secondspin or digitaleyes will give you for them. Secondspin gives cash, digitaleyes store credit.

Although a bit illegal, Wal-Mart lets you return things without a reciept (if they sell it). Just say it was defective when you bought it.

Bobbin, I would delete your post before you get in trouble from a mod.

I used to take my hard-to-sell DVDs to Blockbuster where they would give you a minimum of $5 in trade.

I thought that was low until I stopped at Blockbuster last week to get only $3 per title. What a rip off.

Am I supposed to buy their new release titles for $21.99 (that's 7 discs in trade!)

Anybody know approximately what it would cost to ship a big order (50+) to secondspin?

I sent in a rather large order of CDs to secondspin a few months ago (probably 50-75 of them), and it was like $17 media mail, if I remember correctly. Quite a few of them had superficial scratches and they couldn't accept them, so they went ahead and sent them back to me at no charge (even though their site says you have to pay to get them back). I'll definately use them again next time I want to bundle up another package.

Hi there.

I will buy them from you. I usually pay $3.00-5.00 for DVD's and I like to get them from people's personal collection.

I just signed up for the forum today and I'm not totally sure what the rules/regulations are about exchanging personal information or even if I can offer to buy them. (The terms and agreemments section has me walking on eggshells.)

It looks like you've been around awhile, if you can guide me through what I can/can't do over this site, that would be great.
