Will Suncoast price match? And, who doesn't price match?

I'm thinking about getting My Own Private Idaho at Suncoast because I have some gift card money and store credit, even though it won't cost me much, it's still like paying full price, but Best Buys advertises it in this weeks ad, does Uncoast price match? I know Best Buy, Target, and Circuit City do, who doesn't?

I'm pretty sure that they do not price match.

Price-matching would defeat their corporate policy of ripping off customers.

Target does not price match competitor's ads.

They've done it for me on a dvd once. (I only did it once)

About Suncoast, I guess i can just ask, though it seems doubtful.

Target used to price match, several years ago. However, they changed their policy and currently do not price match.

I don't see why anyone would buy from there with their rediculous prices.

I've tried price-matching at Target and was politely told--no, we don't do that!

So I only visit Target for DVDs if they beat CC or BB. There are other retailers who do price match--most notably Wal-Mart.

Unlike other stores, at least Wal-Mart doesn't make you go through any kind of hassle. I always bring a competitor's ad just to make sure. In some cases they even take you word for it.

Try that at Best Buy!

Best Buy and Fry's are your best bets for price match. Good thing about Suncoast Gift Cards = You don't have to use them at suncoast. I believe you can use them at Sam Goody and Musicland, too.

Suncoast doesn't price match.

And while they charge MSRP on catalog titles, they are competitive on preorders and new releases. Add in their Replay club, which gives you 15% back if you do your buying on Triple Point days, and it's actually a pretty good place to shop if you're shopping smart.

I mainly go there for storage needs nowadays. They often have good deals for storage like 25% off.

The only hassel I ever got from Walmart was when Target put The Good, Bad, Ugly SE in their ad for $7.50. The cashier got the manager to approve it.
