blockbuster.com (quick question just to be sure)

now that blockbuster.com is more like netflix than in the past, I have a question about whether you can buy new dvds online anymore? what I mean is are they new dvds or previously viewed ones. I ask because it seems not all titles are available to buy. Like many newer releases are only available to rent/add to queue? advice would be appreciated

thanks

Just a warning - the blockbuster.com retail end is not run by Blockbuster. In general, I've found them an extremely poor retailer to work with.

In order to use your GC online, it needs to be the kind that has a PIN #. If you look on the back, there should be a grey rectangle that you need to scratch off to expose the PIN #. The cards that start with 6016 should have this PIN # (there may be others). If you have one without a PIN #, you can probably get your local BBV to transfer the $ to one that does.

mine has the pin so im okay.
so the dvds are new then right (not previously viewed)

Yes, they are new. As someone pointed out, they don't actually come from Blockbuster, but from a 3rd party fullfillment house (thestore24.com). I don't think you can purchase PVD (yet) from blockbuster.com.
