Circuit City Return Policy Question

Alright, I tried a search, but couldn't find an answer. Thought I'd just come out and ask.

I bought a TV from CC earlier this month, and I've decided to exchange it. After looking over the return policy, my heart skipped a beat. It's 30 days, but it asks for the box and packaging material. Like any other person I assume, I tossed out all of the cardboard and styrofoam when I set it up.

I'm assuming that because of the price of the TV: $1800, I could just bring it in. I still have all the manuals, remotes, and wires... just no box. Any CC guys or other people out there go through this? You think I'll be alright? Even if I have to pay a re-stock fee or something similar, I wouldn't mind much. Thanks for any help!

How about calling the store and ask?

As long as you have all the wires, remote, manual, etc, you're fine. There is no restocking fee on tv's either.

If you do happen to have a problem returning it with no box, tell them that they removed the box/packing when they loaded it in your car.

Thanks! I'll give 'em a call too just in case, but I'd be suprised if I had any troubles.

They throw it out anyways when you return a TV...(and almost everything else too)

Yeah, all CC keeps is the accessories and the item itself. Box & materials doesnt matter.
