Amazon Sellers: contact before buying
I was looking at some LCD tvs and under the "buy new and used" section it seems lots of sellers have extremely low prices - like 500$ for a 2000$ tv - and in the description it says "please contact me before purchasing." what is all this about?

I've seen iPods listed for 1 cent with the same kind of thing. I'm sure it's probably one of those freebie websites where they're trying to get you to be one of their refferels.

It is generally some catch. Of course never make a purchase outside of the Amazon payments system if you want protection of your order. SOme people will ask you to wire money, it is a scam in almost every case. If someone does let Amazon know by writing to [email protected]
