Warner Classic Musicals Question

The Warner Classic Musicals set (Band Wagon, Easter Parade, Bells are Ringing, Brigadoon, Finian's Rainbow) is selling for $41.94 at Amazon. The three titles I want (BW, EP, and BAR) cost more than that if bought individually. However, on Amazon, the description of the set says it includes only 5 discs. And individually, both BW and EP are two-disc sets.

Does anyone know whether the collection is missing some of the extras? Or could Amazon's description be in error?

Wouldn't be the first time Amazon made an error with the information on a DVD release. The titles in the box set are identical to the ones available individually, and it's an even better deal with STL and A9 search discounts.

I think A9 is dead. Was not an option on my last two orders.

It wouldn't surprise me that there are still some inaccuracies with the listing of this set at Amazon. Several of us bugged Amazon to correct some early problems with this set (incorrect discount, wrong title, etc.). The details are listed here.

Oops, sorry! I got my Warner Collections mixed up. You were talking about the Musicals Collection and I was talking about the Comedies Collection. However, it may still be true that Amazon doesn't have correct information about the Musicals Collection.

If you look carefully at the cover art for the box set, it appears that both Easter Parade and Band Wagon have that gold border across the top that says "Two-Disc Special Edition".

Amazon does that sometimes like the "The Martin Scorsese Film Collection (New York, New York / Raging Bull Special Edition / The Last Waltz / Boxcar Bertha) " they list only 4 discs.
