How is PopFuzz.com?
Interested in trying them out. They buy used DVD's and I was wondering if anyone has anything positive or negative to say about them.

Make sure you keep up with the delivery confirmation number AND (just in case) insurance for the dvds you sale to them. Do not lose it. IIRC, you have to send UPS or another carrier that makes the receiver sign for the package.
I traded with popfuzz and they received my dvds (as interpreted by the dc number). I gave them the allotted amount of time they state that the check will be out + an additional week. I received no check or an e-mail stating that my dvds were received. It was only after I e-mailed them a complaint (after and additional week) that they needed to contact me or I will have to search for outside help in the situation. After that, they replied and sent a check. And everything was worked out. Reason: busy. Fine with me. No harm done. I give them a C+ |
I've been thinking about using them as well...saw the banner here for them ..wonder if anyone else used them..

They don't pay much for rare OOP dvds - DVDS123.com is much better. For average DVDs they are about the same - and their criteria are less stringent (they accept scratched DVDs that play, DVDS123 does not take scratches).

Anyone else?????????

Anymore opinions on this company? I sent in some DVD's and found the communication prior to be exceptionally fast. Now with them having recieved my DVD's communication has dropped to zero. They updated the site to reflect recieving the DVD's, by lowering the price.

Just got paid for my transaction. All in all it was a positive experience, minus the lack of communication after the DVD's were recieved. So I think it's safe to say that they will come through, just not as fast as the site states.

PopFuzz
There is no "they". PopFuzz is owned and operated by one person. Why would one person buy used books, DVDs, and CDs of all types? That seems very odd to me. Anyway, I sent a shipment of books a month and a half ago and still haven't received payment. The excuse the owner, Sean, is using now for the delay is he was very sick with a chest cold for 3 weeks. I'm a nurse and there is no common chest cold that lasts 2-3 weeks and incapacitates someone for that amount of time. In fact, people can walk around and function with pneumonia. I think Sean receives the shipments and doesn't intend to pay until the customer contacts him. I am very dissatisfied with my experience and I do not recommend them to anyone else.
