I'm confused. Do you have to purchase $25 worth of merchandise to get the CD or do you just show your card to get it? (I understand that you get extra RZ points if you purchase $25 in merch, but can you just show up, show your card and get the free CD?)

Last year they would give you the free holiday CD when you produced your RZ card. It should be the same this year.
Btw, the free CD seems to be in a tin case, same as last year. |

It's a good idea to keep your eye on your Reward Zone points balance through the web site, especially with these bonus offers.
I just noticed today that I didn't receive double points for a qualifying purchase last month, and I'm still trying to resolve a problem where I received 0 points instead of 2,498 for a purchase back in September -- many fruitless phone calls have already been made. Looks like I get to call in again. For what it's worth, you can now get Reward Zone points on web purchases. There's a space to enter your member number right before checking out. I just placed an online order yesterday, and I'm definitely watching out for those points to post next month. |
I picked up a CD today too. Scanned my RZ card and CD and total was zero and walked out. :)
