Amazon site/checkout problems?

anyone else having problems at amazon right now? I want to place a few orders, but can't get through the checkout.. keep getting the following message, at various points of the process:

We're sorry. The Web address you entered is not a functioning page on our site.

Same here. I had problems earlier trying to check the status of a shipped order in my account.

Site appears to be back up but account access still seems to be a problem. It took several attempts to get into my account to get tracking information for 2 orders.

I had problems all morning..was trying to place an order..after about 20 minutes I said fuck it and went back like hour and a half later and it worked somewhat (enough to let me place an order)

Just went to amazon uk and no go there either. No U.S. amazon for as well.

The site was very slow this morning. I had a hard time connecting to the site at times.

It's back up now by the evening. I just placed two orders without any problem.

Amazon has been acting a little screw for me also and it still shows that My Gone With The Wind order hasn't even gone into the "Preparing For Shipment" phase

I see Amazon's website problems even made the Monday news.

Amazon technicians weren't sure what had caused the slowdown, but the spokeswoman said the Seattle-based company typically wouldn't disclose that information anyway.

I can't login to amazon UK. I can browse, but I get a page not found error once I enter my password.

Seems to be gone again... I can get to the site but whenever I try to login I get a "Service Unavailable" error :(
