I've had to take a few unopened DVDs back to Borders (I got a duplicate Simpsons season last year for X-Mas). It was pretty hassle free, and I got a gift card from them.

I've done this before at suncoast video with no hassle. Again, it was done right after the holidays.

Suncoast will take any sealed DVD and give you store credit.

Best Buy has for me.....they just look up your credit card or whatever you used to pay and check that way. Worked well on a dvd I bought and left on pause overnight. The laser burned a dead spot or something on it.

Wal-Mart should take unopened ones. But you can only do it three times a year. Be ready to give them your driver's license.

What about if they were given to you as a gift? I guess either since Christmas is next month it would just be best to wait then. I am sure you will have no problems taking it to any store (as long as it scans in there system).
