Better yet -- if you get someone else's account, change their payment option to 'Bill Me Later' for them.

I think the account holder will be grateful that you spared them some possible fraud.

DDD are going to NEED another 20% sale to pull themselves out of this mess.

Did somebody here just change their account information to:

Please Secure
email removed
CA, USA 90210

Because I'm looking at your account right now.

This is fucked.

yes that's my account. i edited out my info, even though old orders still show it.

i also emailed some guy in japan since his account loaded up for me.

i hope no one stole my cc again! first pacificdvd now this.

edit:
also, the fact that my account came up for you right after i edited it makes me think that people who access their account recently makes it show up on the front page or something. just a thought.

Good work emailing the other guy -- wasn't named 'Michael' was he? I might have seen the same account.

You might be on to something there.

Do we have a Daniel Collins here?

yeah it was michael from japan!

also just a thought but i am not sure it's a good idea to select "bill me later" for other people's accounts. ddd might consider it hacking or something and they probably will have the ip address logged. or maybe the account holder would complain to ddd too. i think it's best to just email people and tell them to do it themself.

I simply cannot logout of Ying's account. This is beyond annoying. I tried the link posted above and deleting cookies. I was able to sign into my account once, but after the "logging in" screen, I was suddenly Ying again. I'm not sure what else I can do at this point.

Is it even possible to get someone else's credit card number from DDD? They don't show the whole number on the account page. And can you change the shipping address without a password? I would think the worst you could do would be to order a bunch of DVDs to be shipped to the account holder.

I suspect you probably can change a shipping address and order from another account because the software already thinks you're logged in.

After several tries I was able to set my payment method to bill me later & it did save it and my CC # was wiped out.

I hope that takes care of it. Now I've got to do the same thing at DDCD.

Just did the same thing myself...Another thanks to the OPs for alerting forum members of this problem (Hopefully, someone at DDD is aware of this new security breach and does something about it...even if it means taking their site offline for a few hours...or longer!)

I think someone is right in that it seems to be throwing out logged in accounts to random people.

This is un-fucking believeable! First Time-Life puts me on display and now THIS.

Fortunatly I managed to get into my account (after several tries) and change all my information around. I'm now deleted by admin
I've also been in contact with my credit card company, telling them to flag the card and keep an eye out. Needless to say *EVERY* charge from DDD in the last day or so is getting contested. Do we have any idea when this mess started?

DDD done fucked up BAD this time around. I am seriously considering any future transactions with them. Shocking.

and with that in mind, be sure to click the logout icon after you confirm the switch to bill me later. Hopefully, the account will stop displaying to other people.

I'm still getting some random folks. I'm switching to bill me later for any not already selected to that. I think that's a good idea.

Hi Guys,

For people having problems getting logged in to try to switch over to 'Bill Me later', try going to this link directly:

www.deepdiscountdvd.com/login.cfm

From there I was able to get into my account and make changes to my phone number and credit card that seemed to have 'stuck'

Thanks, I just did that.

I just tried to login and I see Joseph, I then logout.
After that, I see Jessica.
This is scary.
I'm going to try using a different browser.
Does DDD know what's going on?

I'm getting the same names as you, plus when I click "Account info" I get other names with addresses in Europe. I can't seem to get to my own account.
