Anyone Have Their Amazon STAR WARS shipped yet?
 

Ordered mine on April 1st, and my order hasn't even gone into the "preparing for shipping" process yet. Wondering if it's just me...

I know Amazon doesn't usually ship until the day before or the day of street date...but my experience has been that orders are "prepared for shipping" (meaning you can't go in and change your order) a good three to four days before shipment.

Someone on Theforce.net message board said that theirs shipped yesterday from Amazon...but Mine I pre-ordered considerably late (August 13th) and the estimated shipping is Sept. 28th (even though it usually ships out earlier before estimated) and my order still doesn't show shipping soon or anything yet either.

Still waiting for mine to be 'prepared',too. Also for the Cassavetes box (which I'm really eagerly anticipating more than the Star Wars).

Thanks to this thread I checked my status and the order was cancelled!! Apparently my CC didn't go through, but the thing was I didn't need a CC on the order thanks to GCs. So I called and the dude let me reorder, bumped me to 2 day shipping and instead of being slated to ship on the 28th, it's now shipping on the 20th via Fedex :)

I ordered back in March and my Star Wars set shipped out on Thursday from Amazon.com. That might have to do with my location though. When I lived in VA it would ship out day before or day of release date. Now that I live in Hawaii it ships out a couple days before to make up for the distance I guess.

EDIT: Just showed up today, 9/20.

I pre-ordered on March 31st and I'm still waiting as well. Usually my Amazon orders switch to "Shipping soon" on the sunday before street date.

Update: My order has now gone into the "Prepared For Shipping" stage! (Sunday morning)

Pre-ordered in May, they claim they shipped today (Sunday)

Ordered mine on 9/17 and received a shipping confirmation today.

Mine also switched to "Shipping soon". And for the first time in 3 weeks it appears my STL is still intact and hasn't been dropped :eek:

My credit card messed up at 6:02 am this morning, I guess they tried to charge andship it, but I fixed everything so we'll see what happens now, doubt they'll provess it today anymore.

On a side note, they appear to have gotten the STL glitch fixed. The amount shown as the shipped total is exactly what it was supposed to be.

Pre-ordered two weeks ago, shipped today. STL intact.

Mine says Shipping Soon, We shall see.

Well, this would appear to be the 2nd Amazon order in a row (my Hitchcock had the STL screw-up) that is NOT being handled efficiently.

My Martin Scorsese set didn't ship til the Tuesday it came out, Amazon is very screwy when it comes to the shipping and all but never a problem adding stuff to your cart lol

I ordered on March 30, and I've just gotten the "shipping soon" tag. :up:

I also pre-ordering it on April 1st, and it say delivery estimate between Sept. 24-28. So either way I get it on that week, I hope.

Preordered 4/5. "Shipping soon". Estimated delivery 9/27 - 29.

While I don't regret preordering from them, I'm not exactly impressed either. You'd think with something this popular and high profile they might make a point of trying to impress us. If they did get it to me on release day you can bet I'd preorder stuff from them all the time. As it stands, I'll only do it again if I'm feeling too lazy to hit a B&M.

I just got mine today from Buy.com. I even took the free shipping option too. Muhahahahaha!!!

Mine shipped today and is in Nevada. Hopefully since it's so close it may get to me faster than the estimated sept 28-30th delivery date.

Mine shipped this evening via Airborne Home from KY to west coast. Gonna take a while before I see it.
